He was preceded in death by his father Vern Hill, mother Louise Hill, and younger brother Brett Hill.Ī celebration of Wayne’s life is planned for Thursday February 4 at 2 p.m. and brother Rick (Alice) Hill of Miles City. He is survived by his wife Peggy Hill of Miles City children Magen (Bob) Stieg of Watford City, N.D., and Ben (Kylie) Hill of Miles City and grandchildren sisters Karren Langer of Beaverton, Ore., and Patricia (Curt) Langer of Tigard, Ore. He liked to fish, but most importantly, loved and cherished his family and friends. Wayne loved all sports, especially his Green Bay Packers. Wayne took a great deal of pride in the day-to-day operation and success of the Airport Inn. He worked as a paint salesman until the early ’90s, then acquired the Airport Inn in the early 2000s. He married the former Peggy Pettigrew on July 7, 1974. He grew up in Miles City, graduated from Custer County District High School in 1972 and attended Miles Community College. Wayne was born Novemin Miles City, MT, the son of Vern and Louise Hill. Family was his biggest joy in life, especially his four grandchildren – Payton, Sasha, Trenton and Maycee.
